“Painting is like traveling: challenging, fulfilling and deeply fascinating.”

My medical work as a physician has taken me to the most remote areas of the world, allowing unique encounters with diverse cultures: living with natives in Alaska, New Zealand and Australia, my stay in Tibet, as well as the care of AIDS patients in San Francisco were deeply influential. Unforgettable impressions and experiences during this time are inspirations for painting, which I have been almost exclusively dedicated to since June 2014.
